Wells cathedral is a magnificent structure, but I only have shots from outside.
I had to see Wells when I was there. We studied the inverted arch supports for the crossing tower. It was quite an innovation, many medieval church towers collapsed because the stone pillars couldn't carry the weight of the tower. If you rmemebr Salisbury Cathedral, the marble pillars that support that huge crossing tower are deformed and curved due to the weight. We studied that in art history too. Medieval architecture is my favorite. They did so much with so little.
