Queen Mary Legoland.......

We've seen the Queen Mary Lego Model.........But there was more going on in that room.

Like the Bust of Winston Churchill

Or the details, as shown by the Life Boats and Passenger.  One day when I strolled through one of the Staff was dong some repairs to the model....

Weekends Online: The Weston Collective 2020 Workshop Schedule

I support the work of the Weston Collective to promote all forms of traditional (and yes even some digital) photography.  They have a Great Line-up of Workshops for 2020.

But they don't have it posted on their FaceBook or Twitter so that I could share it easily.  I let them know that they need to do an update.......

Here is a Photo from Weston Beach in Carmel.....a favorite hang out of mine when I lived there:

See more from Weston Beach in My Photo Deep Archive.

Ha Ha, That Same Old Feeling!

I don't think that I have posted this Photo Here, although it has appeared many times on my other Blog:

But I got that same old feeling when I entered it in a recent Online Arts Contest:  Special Recognition. Egads, either like it or throw it away.........Read My Thoughts on Art Contests Here.  Spending less and less time on this...........Probably my only entry for the 2020 season.

Ooooop! How did I forget this One?

I forgot to list one of my new 'Gifted' Camera Family Members......The Minox Spy Camera:

I have a roll of expired film in the camera (came with it) and I really need to finish that roll and try my fresh roll here.

Weekends Online: Ghosts of Mazanar

We visited Manzanar when we lived in California.  Quite by 'accident', saw the sign and turned down the road:

We've also visited Heart Mountain in Wyoming and Amache Camp in Colorado.

Recently the remains of Giichi Matsumura were found and identified.  He had gone out to paint and was caught in a freak storm.........

This marks the formal return of my Weekends Online Series.  At least once a month I will have a post referring to something interesting that I found online......

Frugal Film Project: Holiday Post #2

Some wintery scenes from around the Neighborhood.  We actually had our big snow storm two days before Thanksgiving.  Still on the ground when our Holiday Photo Challenge Began.....

I think this was a leftover from Halloween still on the tree.

Our Local Book Box.

Frugal Film Project: Holiday Post #1

Got my Frugal Film Holidays roll of film back.  I'm going to start with Hoar Frost.  I'll be making two more postings of Holiday images.

The Yashica Electro 35 GSN, perhaps not the best camera for the job.  But that's what I had decided to use for my Holidays Shooting.
