Saturdays Online: The Coolest Business Cards

Take a look at what Kodak Execs are using for Business Cards.  Obviously film is alive and well in some circles at Kodak.  It would be nice if they would share more insight and products with us too!

So I'm curious, how many of you have Photography Cards?  I won't call them business cards, because you may or may not classify your self as a professional?

We carry cards as an easy way to have a personal 'business' card for follow-up contacts with people I meet through photography:

Saturday's Online: Kodak Alaris and Lomography Join Forces!

The Death of film photography is way over done!  Let's just let everyone do what makes them Happy and stop talking about it!  If you like film you need to use it to keep it around, end of discussion.  Seems like enough people do like film.  So Lomography has joined forces with the surviving UK Kodak brand, Kodak Alaris, to sell film and paper through its website.

I've played with the Lomo Fisheye a bit.....But I'm really more of a Holga Fan when it comes to Lo-Fi Photography:

Saturday's Online: Apollo Mission Photos In the Public Domain

NASA has made many serious mistakes.  Stupid stuff like losing the original film of Neil Armstrong's first steps on the Moon.  The entire film of that mission disappeared, the 40th Anniversary only salvaged because CBS had transferred their video to film and had saved it.   Other bright moments include losing Moon rocks........and we won't linger on their very bad record of killing astronauts........

So when they do something right we should take note, especially when it involves film archiving.

So NASA has scanned all of the thousands of Hasselblad images from all of the Apollo missions.  They are on line and in the public domain:

You can revisit these heroic days of NASA Lunar exploration (or see it for the first time if you hadn't been born yet).
