To The Top!

One Level above the Event Center is a spiral staircase to the Bell outside:




 Fortunately the 2.5 ton bell did not ring while we were up there.


Nothing really for scale, but the external bell clapper is the size of a cannon ball.

Beautifully restored Brass Ceiling Panels.You can also see the top of one of the 10X10 inch oak posts that support the structure.



The sprinkler system is a retrofit, but blends in fairly well.

For Memorial Day....A Real American Hero

The Colorado State Courts Building is named for Governor Ralph L. Carr.  A real American Hero who refused to allow Japanese Americans in Colorado to be sent to Internment Camps during WWII.
