I thought I was adding interest to the image by including the rocks. However as seen below, the Rocks were a distraction:

Not the greatest contrast, but I'm better able to fix that in the dark room.........I will have a print vs. negative scan comparison soon.

I might have too much phantasy though ;-)
I can see that. And at the time I probably saw a relationship between them.
