A Blog About Film Photography and Film Cameras: Traditional, Experimental, and Alternative Processes.
Excellent project. Thanks for posting it. I wish I had known of this back when they were seeing funding. We do need preservation. I often cringe (usually every time I use any kind of digital imaging) at its high sensitivity to loss and short life span. I grew up with Kodachrome and was really saddened by its demise. All one needs to do is visit Shorpy.com and look at the old Kodachrome slides from WWII. We will never ever have any quality like that from digital nor will it ever last in its native format more than a few years. With the dawning of the PC we traded Granite for dust.
