For 52 Rolls, Week #18, I discussed cropping and showed a tree on the edge of a cliff.  On a later roll I found that I had actually cropped this scene in the camera using my 210 telephoto lens:

This compositions actually works much better than the other image.

Sunday Online: Lens Flares

It's been a wile since I posted comments related to an online article.......

So how do you feel about lens flares?  I never think about using a lens hood, so I get them sometimes.  I know that they can be' artistic, but I've never tried to work with that.  I usually get the annoying ones like below:

I thought this video was going to be silly and it was.  I've never thought of faking an effect like this using Photoshop.  But that just shows that I am film-centric........Let's try next time to use some of the techniques described more deliberately, and see what happens.........
