Saturdays Online: Photographing the Oldest Trees

Some of the Oldest Trees in the World: Bristlecone Pine, White Mountains, California

Beth Moon has travelled the world photographing our oldest living Trees.  I grew up with an estimated 300 year old oak in my back yard, and it taught me to appreciate beautiful old trees.

Check out more of Beth Moon's Photography.  And please do what you can to preserve old growth forests.

  1. Those old trees are fantastic. I'm saddened each time I hear of one being ruined in any way. Once gone even our great grand children will never see them.
