Point Pleasant, Ohio: Birthplace of U.S. Grant......

On many drives up river as a child, we passed through Point Pleasant, but never stopped.  This time we did:

Grant 'Cabin', with Mom for scale.....quite a comfortable home for the 1820's.

Grant's Parents were renting the cottage....the landlords lived next door in a larger house.

    Very nice place. I've heard of it and I have never gone there. Next trip up the coast we may need to visit.
