And I have to say, having lived in Chicago, it is one of the very few cities that I would return to as a permanent residence......So that's my Endorsement.

ReplyDeleteWow! You just dished up my new favourite image on your blog! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love that clock tower. I have a recent photo that I'll post soon. Tt was part of an extravegant turn of the (last) century deparment store. probably a lot like the Denver version of Harrod's in its day, because this was the center of commerce for the gold and silver mining industries, and people had money to 'burn' as we say here. The city block sized building is gone, only the tower remains, and there is a nightclub in the basement; law offices upstairs.
ReplyDelete...and it is sooo quiet!
