In Memoriam: Kelly the Little Black Dog
Taken 4 years ago when she was still healthy and vibrant. We have a question mark for her birthdate because she was a stray that we adopted from the Monterey County Humane Society in California.
Similar happened to Sable. She was a fantastic Rottie I got from a friend who had to give her up. Originally a dog from Rottweiller Rescue. She was the best dog I ever had. We never knew her age. Our vet thought about 4 or 5.
Thanks Bill, Kelly was so well loved by everyone she met. Her Acupuncture therapist stopped by and brought us flowers. We;re having her cremated and they'll also make a doggie foot print for us to keep with her ashes.
We'll take Andy (our surviving dog) on a hike tomorrow. He's not quite sure what has happened. Also a rescue that we got as a puppy. We are dedicated to only having rescue dogs now.
Sad to hear about Kelly.

Nothing can replace one's favorite dog.
