Sundays in Patagonia

By request we will spend the next few Sundays in Patagonia

Blue Lake, our last day Trekking in Chile before heading to Argentina.
The Famous Towers of the Paine Massif in the distance.....

And below I zoom in with my 28-200 lens;  Minolta X-700,
Kodak E100GX film.

  1. Fantastic landscape, looks pretty cold as well. Those towers are almost 'cathedral' in appearance. Looks like a great trip.

  3. It ranged from cold, damp and windy (sometimes with snow), to windy but warm enough for shorts and a t-shirt.

And you certainly understand what the "Roaring 40's" means when you are there. The only constant is the wind!

It was always Donald's dream to go there; he said that I made his dream come true, which is avery sweet thing to say. But I'll have to tell you that in regards to high latitudes, I enjoyed Spitzbergen (Svalbard) more. And that was above the Arctic Circle too!

I'd like to go back, though, just because Chile was such a wonderful experience.
