In case you hadn't noticed, I've been degrading my image quality.......Mostly to thwart those those Online Photo Thieves......
A Couple of reminders of what really goes on out here:
From Petapixels: A warning about Instagram
And A Gallery of Shame for those that steal photos to promote their business. Imagine that you hied a photographer for your wedding or other special event and the portfolio that they presented to get you business was entirely fake. No wonder your photos didn't turn out well
And a special mention of the Design Student in New York that was a prolific online poster of other people's photos.
Let's continue with our Ghost Towns and end on a lighter note. We visited Bonanza, but it was still inhabited (at least seasonally). And not as in tact as St Elmo's. So I wasn't very inspired. However, along the road to Bonanza there was an interesting Homestead Ruins:
We'll explore here over the next few days............And Coming at the end of the week for Halloween: The Denver Zombie Crawl.
Sad about on line photo theft. It has been going on for years. Doubt it will cease. I've had some of mine used for various purposes and generally have stopped others from using my photos, but I (or any photographer) must catch the unethical first.
ReplyDeleteMy solution is to use crappy snap-shot quality and low resolution, but it does not always work.
