Finding the Real Jethro Tull?

So 70's Rock fans will remember the band "Jethro Tull'.  But have you ever wondered whether there was a REAL Jethro Tull?  Well, there was:

My little hike around the Park included an agricultural display that answered that question:

  1. That is very interesting. I never gave thought to Jethro Tull being a real person.

  2. I knew Jethro Tull was a real person, I just didn't make a connection to agriculture. Read More here:

The band was given the name by a Club Booking agent that had a degree in history. Apparently they were in the habit of making frequent name changes to increase bookings.

  3. These were still pulled by a team of horses when I was a younger boy. That's all they had.

  4. Also interesting that both Ian Anderson the leader of Jethro Tull ( The band ) and Martin Barre the guitarist are keen collectors of vintage cameras, particularly Leica's.
