Catalina Island Menagerie
Lots or Birds, Fish and seasonally Whales and Seals. But on land you'll be fortunate to see the local Foxes (which climb trees) and the Bison that were introduced in the early 1900's. I highly recommend taking the Catalina Island Conservancy Tour.
We were lucky to see the Foxes before they went climbing:

New Film Test: Yodica Polaris 400
This came to me as an @EmulsiveSanta gift this year and as a Question about weird films on #filmfeb. No one seems to have tried it. So Here We Go:

Santa Catalina Island
On our Summer California Trip we decided to visit Santa Catalina Island. We certainly want to go back and spend more time.
I'm going to begin my posts with scene from a Jeep Tour we took with the Catalina Island Conservancy. They own most of the Island (Thanks to Mr Wrigley) and it is the only way to see the interior.
The Beach at the Two Harbors Area:
Below, interesting Geology. The Island has a volcanic origin and this appeared to be a volcanogenic sulfide deposit:
Animal Resistant Trash Disposal:

SolarCan USA Election Celebration!
Yes, our ridiculously long Election process starts tonight with the Iowa Caucus. And appropriately it is snowing here in Colorado. So I've deployed two Election SolarCans at different angels in the yard to xapture our election season. Now running through Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

Long Beach Harbor........
We took a boat tour of the Long Beach Harbor....... Here a new bridge being built to replace the Arched Bridge and accommodate larger container ships.
Most docks owned and operated by Japanese and Chinese Companies.....
