It was a cold blustery day...remembering that our road trip was last November.
Tornados are normally a Spring and Summer Phenomenon.
We thought they might be be starting to switch out the designs.....

What's All That Corn About?
Kind of Left you hanging on that one....But now we will visit the Famous Mitchell, South Dakota Corn Palace:
I first visited the Corn Palace as a child in 1969. Our Road Trip to the Black Hills......Traveling with children, my Mother wisely had side trips built into our schedule. Each Corn Palace motif has a theme, this one being Typical South Dakota Weather.

SolarCan Deployments: Part II
Another high deployment, on our roof:
Making Wife happy is part of the Husband job description.........
Even if it means climbing on the roof to place a SolarCan.
Set up just before the Spring Equinox, the house SolarCans will stay up through the
Fall Equinox to capture the Full Solstice effect.

SolarCan Deployments: Part I
I'm catching up on an old installation and showing my newest ones. The First SolarCan actually went out in my backyard during the winter solstice to capture the return of the sun:
I started with the backyard because if a street light across from our front yard. But Number two was placed above our front door in hopes of less light interference:

Some Interesting Reflections.........
My House is like Stonehenge as the Equinox Arrives. A window in my Living Room shines down the hall and through to the Family Room.I should document the exact position at the Equinox. I say that every Year, but maybe this year it will happen.
In an case, I saw some interesting reflections on my ceiling:

I knew the light source was the window, but took some sleuthing to find the source of the reflections....
The source was a stainless steel platter on my kitchen counter........
