Your second image looks like my first attempt with Caffenol-L. A high contrast scene with blown highlights and blacks with no detail. I'm not sure whether that's because of the exposure or the developer...
Still experimenting too. I have greatly enhanced these images in photoshop. I honestly need to try ISO 100 film, but that's not my usual choice so I don't have any on hand.Time for another phot supply order!
