This week we visit Gloucester Cathedral, whose actually name given above, is a real mouthful!

The Church was begun during the Romanesque Era and completed after the Gothic Style became popular.  So you find a mixture of both.  The change in color vertically along the piers is due to weathering during a long pause in construction.

The change in color is very evident here.
