It's always amazing to me how b&w does landscapes so well. This one is beautiful! The composition, with the strong leading line and the logs at angles with it just all work perfectly together. I have to agree with you on this one.
My best set of photos was probably taken on that Northern California Trip. I highly recommend the Redwoods National and State Parks.And yes, it is the perfect setting for elves!
