2011 New Year's Photography Resolutions

Taking a look back at Last Year's plan of action I didn't get very far only completing 5 of my 16 objectives:

Introduce ‘The Family Project’ (Family Photo Preservation)
New Series ‘Weekly Volcano’
Experiment with Pinholes
Colorado Mining History and Cemetery Series
Kodak Duaflex

But I think I had way too many plans.  So we will keep it simpler this year.  Ideally I'll be in the darkroom a lot!

I leave at the top of my list for 2011 the Darkroom.  Cross your fingers that I will be posting something from my darkroom by February.

Start Printing in My Home Darkroom
Continue with Pinholes (I have a paint can pinhole to play with this year)
Try Solargraphy
Spend more time with the Holga, Lomo and other plastic cameras
Work on the Family Project (Easier once I have the darkroom)
Play with Caffenol
Dig into my slides from Spain, Norway, and Africa........and Post them for you!

My only camera plans:

Still looking for a Minolta SRT-101
Long-range Plans for a Mamiya 6X7
Longer-range plans for a Graflex Press Camera (Speed Graphic model)

What are your Photo Plans for this year?

P.S.  I'll also be redesigning the blog.  If you like the current background please vote for keeping it.

  1. I have a very simple plan for 2011 - go out with my camera more often. I keep finding excuses to either not go out or to go out without a camera

  2. I agree. My Biggest problem is not always carrying a camera. I tried keeping a camera in my car, but in the summer too hot and in the winter dead batteries. I'll just have to try again keeping one of my many 35mm cameras in the car.........can't really hurt much!
