I said that I had several photos of Mt Shasta. So Let's see how many months I can start off with a Mt Shasta Photo. This is a more typical view showing that classic strato-volcano form.
Taken from the Medicine Lake Volcano, looking towards the south west.
The dome in the foreground is part of Glass Mountain, a large obsidian dome and flow
within Medicine Lake Volcano.
We'll return to the Fall River over the weekend.
